How Does Reiki Work?
Attuning someone to Reiki energy means preparing their body to work as a receiver and channel of the universal life force energy. The attuned person becomes like a pipe through which the energy can flow and be passed on to others. Since the source of Reiki is Universal Life Force Energy, we cannot will it nor control it. At the same time, we cannot will others to accept Reiki without their consent. Reiki requires mutual consent in order to be received. Remember, the life force energy does not come from the giver, it flows through her.
